# Participant disclosure

This site is published by the sgit project and written by the team that builds the sgit CLI, people and the agents working with them, about their own tool. Read it as a participant's account.

What that changes, and what is done about it:

- **The command reference is generated, not written.** It is the CLI's account of its own parser, so it cannot be flattering; it can only be out of date, and it names the release it came from.
- **The research articles are published as written**, including the ones that report the tool's own bugs (a pull that discarded uncommitted edits, branches that did not work, paths silently rewritten) and the reviews that corrected the team's designs.
- **The limits are on their own page**: [Limitations](../docs/limitations.md), moved here from sgit.ai with the rest.
- **sgit is beta.** It has no compliance certification of any kind.

Corrections are welcome, and are published above the mistake: [the corrections file](../admin/corrections.md).
